After bouldering with some friends, we decided to grab some dessert!
Walking around Hollywood Boulevard you are sure to find some tasty treats. While strolling past some famous “stars” on the ground, I was suddenly hit with the smell of delicious bread wafting through the air. Through the window I saw the churro cones being made and spinning around as they baked.
I looked at their menu and we decided to share a cone and a shake. We ordered the Ferrero Rosher shake and the Nutella Dream cone.
All their cones are coated with Nutella, so I got myself a double dose of Nutella goodness! The cone was so delicious, the cinnamon sugar on soft doughy bread coated with Nutella was a dream. Paired well with the tasty vanilla ice cream!
The Ferrero Rosher shake was fun to drink because of the little bits you get to chew on throughout the drink. But when at Turn Dough, I highly recommend ordering a delicious churro cone!
Next time I’m in the area, I think I would like to try the Coconut Raffaello~
This is one of those little places I would absolutely recommend a friend check out if they were in the area. It’s a really small, quite literal, hole in the wall. The menu is pretty expansive with a bunch of ice cream cones and milkshakes. I wish it wasn’t so expensive but I’m not at all shocked considering the location. One of the best milk shakes I’ve ever gotten and super instagram worthy.
Okay so I heard about this dramatic ice cream shop that serves their ice cream in chimney cakes right in Hollywood and I have to admit, I was pretty intrigued. So I go ahead and make my way down to Hollywood and Highland which is one of the busiest areas in Hollywood, mind you! And of course there was a line outside the door!
The place was colorful with flashy lights and just screamed FUN! so I go in and the menu is pretty vast! I ended up trying the milkshake and of course the chimney cake ice cream cones! The staff was so nice as well which is also really important! You’ll enjoy plenty of the photo opps when you visit here, but hurry before you’re ice cream melts!
Spending some time on the Hollywood Walk of Fame? Then make sure you stop by Turn Dough! It’ll help you cool down from the heat or help with letting you try something that you can’t normally get easily. It’ll make your day just that much more memorable, if you ask me!
I loved being able to see them make my cone from dough one minute then the next it was a cone. Like I mentioned, the cone is freshly made so its very hot and so when they add in the soft serve and decorate it, it’ll melt a little faster than normal. But it doesn’t take away from how good the cinnamon cone/ice cream is. The milkshake was also really tasty! If you love milkshakes you won’t regret ordering one from here!
Absolutely in love with this place! They’ve got freshly made ice cream and whip cream with excellent customer service! I got the Matcha Milkshake and Ferrero Rocher Ice Cream Cone! Both were excellent and mildly sweet which I loved! Highly recommend this place to everyone who loves a good ice cream!
Really fun ice cream place right in the middle of Hollywood Blvd with all the crazy mix of people. People that worked there were super nice and patient since it was our first visit. I got a Nutella Ferrero milkshake while my son got an Oreo cone. They make the cone fresh right in front of you. Both were really good. The vibe inside is fun and bright.
THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!! Recently I found this place while walking down the boardwalk and saw a sign for ice cream with cinnamon cones. My friend and I ordered the Lemon Curd cone and the Nutella Dream shake. It was the most amazing thing I’ve ever had. We devoured both and were amazed at how delicious they both were. I can’t wait to go back to Venice to order new flavors!!
Amazing confections here! There are options for crepes, milkshakes, cones, coffee with ice cream and sundaes. We ended up getting milkshakes, a double espresso with ice cream, a turtle sundae, and oreo sundae. The milkshakes are very big. The service was great and fast. The prices were what you can expect for downtown Hollywood. There isn’t any place to sit, so we ate ours while walking back to the car.
