Ice Cream: Soft Serve

Italian-style ice cream, known as gelato, isn’t just a dessert; it’s an artisanal marvel woven into the cultural fabric of Italy. Gelato boasts a rich history tracing back to the Renaissance era. Its secret lies in the dense, velvety texture achieved by churning it at a slower pace, infusing less air than its American counterpart. This unique method results in a smoother, intensely flavored frozen dessert. Embodying the essence of Italy’s culinary legacy, gelato isn’t merely dessert—it’s a testament to centuries of passion, tradition, and craftsmanship.

Spread: Peanut Butter

Did you know that Peanut Butter was initially introduced as a health food for those with teeth impairments? It wasn’t until the 1920s that it paired up with the jelly, giving rise to the iconic peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Beyond being a lunchtime staple, this nutty delight has diversified its repertoire, gracing everything from savory sauces to frozen desserts, becoming a beloved American classic that holds a special spot in the hearts of many!

Topping: Chopped Reese's

Reese’s, the iconic marriage of peanut butter and chocolate, weaves a tale of flavorsome legend. It began in the 1920s when Harry Burnett Reese delved into the art of confectionery. He soon crafted the perfect union of peanut butter and chocolate, birthing the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup. His invention quickly ascended to legendary status and expanded its realm, adorning cookies, cakes, and of course ice creams!

Reviews

The shakes are really good and the soft serve is always a good base to please everyone…

I chose the Resse’s ice cream it was so good without being overly sweet. The churro cone made it so tasty to bite into when finishing, I paid $13 which is pretty much what I would pay for Rolled ice cream handmade as well so I was happy and you’re paying for quality!

Also, the music playing while waiting was very catchy and chill.

Super solid spot to grab a sweet treat. Located right on the Venice strip ( which is either a pro or con depending who you ask and how you like crowds ). I really appreciated the friendly staff that greeted me as well as the quick wait time for the cone. The choices were endless and the menu of ice cream was abundant . Everything starts with a vanilla base and goes from there. Although the ice cream and toppings were delicious on my Reese’s peanut butter cone, I really was a fan of the cone itself . It’s more of a “turn dough ” almost like a cinnamon roll. I thought it would get soggy with the ice cream, but no ! It was delicious. I wasn’t a huge fan of the extra peanut butter they put in the then dough cone, I would try to get it without when I go back. But yeah, the cone was delicious despite the overwhelming peanut butter and everything was so cute presentation wise. Definitely would come back if I’m out in Venice and craving a sweet treat!
